Arrive at Bandaranayake International Airport. You will be greeted by your chuffer or our representative officer on arrival. Thereafter you will journey to Sigiriya. En-route to Sigiriya you will be visiting Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which gives shelter and protection to more than 80 elephants. Afternoon visit to the world heritage site Sigiriya Rock Fortress built by King Kassapa in the 5th century.

Day 01 - Sigiriya



Day 02 - Day Excursion to Polonnaruwa
After breakfast, proceed to the world heritage site Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa was the 2nd capital city (1017 -1235 AD) in ancient Sri Lanka. After the site visit, enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry lunch. Thereafter proceed on a game safari in Minneriya National Park.

After breakfast you will journey to Kandy which is known as the last capital city of ancient Sri Lanka. En-route to Kandy you will be passing Matale city which is famous for spices and herbal gardens. In the evening, visit the world famous sacred Temple of Tooth and Cultural Dance Pageants.

Day 03 - Kandy




After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy through beautiful tea plantations and waterfalls. Before leaving Kandy, do a shopping excursion and get experience in Sri Lankan traditional industries and values. En-route, taste a pure cup of ceylon tea in Labukele Tea Garden. In the afternoon, explore Nuwara Eliya city which is known as the “Little England”.

Day 04 - Nuwara Eliya







After breakfast proceed to Yala from Nuwara Eliya by train. You will have an unforgettable experience through this green zone with nature. After the train ride in Ella, continue the journey to Yala and en-route, enjoy nature with Ella Gap, Rawana Waterfall and thousands of acres of rice fields.
Optional: Visit Katharagama, Ancient Kiriwehera temple and God temple

Day 05 - Yala/ Katharagama



In the morning, proceed to a game safari in Yala National Park which is especially known as one of the world famous places to see the “Panthera pardus kotiya” (Leopard). After the safari, proceed to Mirissa beach which is a famous place for Whale and Dolphin Watching in Sri Lanka.

Day 06 - Mirissa





After Whale Watching in the morning, proceed to the airport via Galle and Colombo. Galle is the capital of southern province which is home to the UNESCO World Heritage, Galle Dutch Fort site. Before you reach Galle, you will be passing Koggala which is the famous village to see the living museum of stilt fishermen. After the Galle city tour, you will journey back to Bandaranayake International Airport for your flight back home.
Optional: Colombo city tour and shopping can be carried out until time of departure
